In December 2020, UDK Plant, a member of Alef Corporation, engaged in production of cellular concrete, confirmed its compliance with the international quality standard ISO 9001:2015. Thus, the Company once again proved for its partners its reliability and stability, and for its clients — a guarantee of observing the quality indicators of products.
“An effective system is needed to manage the quality of the Company’s products. The international standard ISO 9001:2008 contains the requirements that allow to optimize the Company’s document management system, highlight processes affecting the quality and ensure their effectiveness. The Certificate ISO 9001 is a kind of the matriculation certificate for the Company”, — the Head of the Quality Assurance Department of the Plant told.
The specialist shared that the arrangement of the document management, taking into account the traceability of processes, not only did not lead to growing the number of papers, but even reduced its number. The system also led to the partial transition to electronic versions of the minutes, which allowed to establish an effective exchange of information among the divisions in a prompt manner. Nevertheless, the most important factor for functioning of the quality management system at the Plant is deemed to be the joint cohesive work of the entire labor team for a common result, and understanding of the general goals and policies of the Company.
For the first time, UDK Company was certified for compliance with DSTU standard ISO 9001:2009 in August 2014.
Since 2017, the Company has passed to a new version of ISO 9001:2015 standard. Unlike the version of 2008, the new version includes the concept of risk-oriented management. The introduction of risk management made it possible to look at processes in a new way, identify and assess the main risks for the stable operation of the Company and quality of the finished product.
