“ALEF Kids” project: children of the corporation employees visited the company “The Dnipro Gardens” (“Sady Dnipra”)

The “Alef” corporation takes care of the next generation. The tours are conducted regularly at the premises of the corporation companies and their partners in order to help children to define their future professions, as well as to expand their horizons.

Children may visit the most advanced Ukrainian plants using the robotized equipment, to see the production process with own eyes, and to ask any relevant questions to the professionals of the companies.

Fourth tour as part of the “ALEF Kids” project was conducted on September 19. This time children of the “Alef” corporation employees visited the company “The Dnipro Gardens” (“Sady Dnipra”), one of the most dynamically developing fruit companies of Ukraine.

Children visited the territory of the refrigerating storage facility; they saw how the storage chambers work, and how the entire huge storage complex may be managed from one computer. Moreover, children saw the most powerful apples sortline in Ukraine; they found out about the stages of the fruits sorting, and the criteria according to which the apples are selected.

Children made a walk in the apple garden; they saw own meteorological station of the company and the interesting innovation, “houses for insects”, Ihor Butkovskyi, the chief agronomist of “The Dnipro Gardens” (“Sady Dnipra”) company told how the European technologies help to gather the largest possible harvest, as well as which innovations in the agricultural science are used by the company’s team.

It should be recalled that “ALEF Kids” is the professional orientation project the purpose of which is to expand the views of life of children, and to help them to understand the course according to which they want to develop. As a matter of fact, the variety of business-members of “Alef” corporation enables to introduce many areas of activities to children.

Earlier children already visited the plant manufacturing aerated concrete, “UDK”, and the plant producing window and door furniture,”Axor”, as well as the company “Agroaliance”.
